The Scellier Law went into effect a year ago—is it too early to make an assessment?
Remember that the Scellier Law offers a tax reduction to investors who are buying new properties to rent out for at least 9 years.
The law renews older tax offset laws (the Robien and Borloo laws expired December 31, 2009).
The new law has found an enthusiastic audience and has enjoyed a major success.
Moreover, it has made the tax-offset system more understandable and easier to use.
